Up for sell is my beloved 1965 Gibson LG1. I acquired this beauty about 5yrs ago and have put a lot of money into it to get it into top playing condition. It looked great with no structural issues of any kind when I got it but needed these improvements to become a player. Other than some finish checking and a few small bumps and dings there are no cracks or issues. It has been inspected and all work below done by one of the best luthiers in DFW. First thing I had done was have the original plastic bridge replaced by a rosewood one with bone saddle. This made a significant difference in sound but I am also including the original with this sale. It has been stringed to standard tuning ever since and is still tight all the way around. Next I had the frets level, crowned and dressed. They still look like new! Then I had a complete setup done and the action is great! Very easy to play and comfortable with light strings. Finally I had a K&K pure mini installed which other than replacing the end pin does not alter the guitar. The original case is included and does have wear but serves its purpose. Other than the bridge/saddle and pickup everything is original. I really hate to see her go but have run into some money troubles and it is the most valuable nonessential item I have.
