This auction is for a genuine 10 string Chapman Stick, serial number 580.The stick is in overall great condition, except that there was at one time a stress fracture on the back of the neck where the fingerboard meets the headstock (see photos). It has been professionally repaired by a luthier and is perfect working order. The instrument is completely stable and you wouldn't notice where it has been repaired if you weren't looking for it. The pickup has been upgraded for the stock pickup (original pickup will be included). Overall the instrument only shows signs of very minor wear. It's a beautiful instrument that looks like new. Included in this offer is the stick, a heavy duty hard shell case, a strap, the special Stick forked cable, the original pickup, and instructional book "Stickology", A Guide to Playing the Chapman Stick by Steve Adelson and 2 instructional DVDs: Basic Freehand Technique with Greg Howard and Lessons on the Stick with Bob Culbertson.
