Beautiful 1976 Red Ludwig Vistalite Drum Set.Here's what I know:These were bought by a drummer in Duluth ,Minnesota for his son. The Son used them for a bit and then put them in a closet. They were sold to a Second hand Music store which is where I bought them. When I got them the bottom heads and rims were gone. I acquired period correct rims and tension rods for the set.The Snare is dead stock, right down to the heads and snare wires and cord. The heads that were on the set are the stock ones which are now on the bottom side. The batters have been fitted with Evans G1 clear heads. Remo Ambassadors on the 18" Floor tom.The bass has a Remo Clear Emperor on the batter side and the stock Ludwig Batter heads on the front.(complete with the Speed King indentation). The front Bass Drum Hoop is a Period correct Ludwig Hoop. The inlay is from Precision Drums and is glued on. The Batter side Hoop is stock. Both have been repainted. The 18" tom has been added to the set. It is a bit newer but s/ns are close.14x22 s/n 1221xxx5x14 s/n 1219xxx8x12 s/n 1217xxx9x13 s/n 1218xxx16x16 s/n 1219xxx16x18 s/n 1281xxxThe shells have no cracks or Spider webbing and very minimal scuffs. The hardware has a bit of corrosion but can likely be cleaned up.(I have not detailed these. They are as they were when I got them)The tom mount , Spurs (still have the rubber feet!) and Floor tom legs are included. The Snare stand in the pictures is a 60's stand and is included as well. This is a nice typically LOUD Visatlite set that needs to be played.Ask any questions .Thanks for looking.
