Up for sale is a beautiful upright electric bass. This bass was designed and produced by Ned Steinberger's company NS Design. It is less than 2 years old, it sounds and plays great, and it is in excellent condition. This is a perfect instrument for a bass player with limited room for practice or for traveling, as it has a much smaller footprint than a traditional upright bass and it can be played quietly (unamplified or with headphones) in a shared living situation. It's also a great bass for those who love effects, as you won't run into any of the live feedback/noise issues associated with processing acoustic instrument sound through a microphone.This bass has been cared for and it has only been played within my smoke-free home studio. You can see the condition of the bass in the attached photos. There is one small blemish at the top of the headstock which does not go through the finish, which I've tried to capture in the photo of the back of the headstock. There is another small blemish which does go through the finish on the back of the body where the stand attaches. When a stand is attached, this blemish isn't visible.This bass generally retails for $1499 and I am including over $480 in stands and hard-case accessories (see below for additional details on each item).
