Vintage Wooden Bassoon Made in Western Germany Serial Number 2120, cannot find a manufacturer's name, but says Made in Western Germany, (Not West Germany like I mistakenly said in my answer to the question below) which put's it's manufacture sometime between the end of WWII and the Berlin Wall coming down. Any help would be appreciated. :o) I am not a bassoon player but had a knowledgeable woodwind music teacher look at it and was told in was in good playing condition. Has light wear and tear expected from an older instrument, as seen in pictures. Beautiful wood has no cracks, but there are small scratches and blemishes. Pads and cork all appear to be in good serviceable condition. Metal parts could use some cleaning. The images are not stock photos, they are pictures of the actual item you will receive.
