Up for auction is an extremely rare, one of a kind 1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom Guitar. This is a sandwich body style guitar with both Maple Fret Board and a Maple top, a very rare custom option. The pickups installed are Dimarzio X2N Power Plus and the original pickups and knobs are included. Making the guitar even more rare, is that it was used in the recording of early Staind demo's as well as many parts of the bands Tormented and Dysfunction records. Aaron, Mike and Johnny also have signed this guitar and Aaron added the phrase "Used on Tormented" as they were all still VERY familiar with the guitar. Included in the auction is the original Hard Shell Case - the case even has an American Airlines address tag on it with Mike Mushok's name and address and a Certificate of Authenticity provided by one of Staind's old producers and audio men, Jeff Gilmer and was also signed by Johnny April. There are also pictures I have of the group holding the guitar after it was signed and pictures of Johnny holding the guitar and signing the COA that I will send to the winning bidder. This is certainly an amazing piece of Staind memorabilia and history let alone an amazing Les Paul Guitar!!
