This is a superb sounding Ramirez 1A. If you like the big, bold and sophisticated Ramirez sound, then this 1a will not disappoint. I took pics with the strings off so you can see the fretboard and finish more clearly. Frets are perfect -I am about to restring it and polish the fretboard and body.
I have had a number of Ramirez 1a and 2a guitars over the years and this is the best sounding one I have heard. Underneath the spoundboard it is stamped with the number 1 which means it was built by Miguel Malo the head builder at Ramirez in 1977.Back and sides are extra dark AAA grade Indian Rosewood and the top is cedar. Visually stunning.The neck plays perfectly. Comes with the very clean - original hard case.
The finish is very clean and crack free...Truly excellent ++ condition.A sine qua-non classical guitar.
