This is a Wooden Piccolo with a Silver Metal Head Joint, No Cracks, a Perfect Seal and creates the most Amazing and Beautiful Sound. This Piccolo was made in 1915, which you can verify with the serial number. What makes this unique? We are told that the Piccolo was made by Powell who started working for Haynes in 1915 after making his first Piccolo by melting his wife's silver. Powell left Haynes after 12 years and opened his own company in 1926/27. You are getting one of the original authentic Piccolo's by Haynes. The wood work is amazing.
