Just like picking up an old friend with all the right wear marks and aged hardware. The M118SWK is that mandolin that gives you that big fat sounding chop and doesn’t have that typical thin sound you get in most mandolins in this price point. We believe this is due to the lack of a thick polished lacquer finish and the all solid wood construction. The neck has a little wider nut spacing making it a little more comfortable to play for someone who isn’t used to the cramped strings on a typical mandolin.
