STEINWAY & Sons MODEL M GRAND PIANO #391145 | Refinished - Ebony - 1965 - Chupp's PianoSMeasuring 5'7" in length, Steinway & Sons Model M Grand Pianos are some of the most popular instruments ever produced by Steinway & Sons. These instruments were first introduced in 1911 and are scaled down from the larger Model O. Featuring a manageable size and a full tone, it is common to see these pianos utilized in both private residences and institutional settings. Steinway Model M #391145 was built at the New York Steinway factory in 1965 and is in very good, fully refinished and refurbished condition. The original Steinway factory soundboard and bridges are in phenomenal condition with no visible cracks and the ribs are tight against the board with no buzzing. The tuning pins are tight in the pinblock allowing for a stable tuning. The piano's action features Accelerated key mounting and the action parts have been cleaned and regulated by our expert piano technicians. This piano features the lift out music desk that was adopted in 1940. The satin ebony cabinet is in very good condition and has been refinished in a hand rubbed, closed pore lacquer finish. The original brass pedals and hardware have been restored. [The piano is pictured with shop casters so the polished brass set remains like new.] This beautiful 'baby grand' piano is in excellent condition with a wonderful original soundboard and luxurious refinished cabinet.
