1979 Tokai Les Paul Reborn Guitar. Fantastic Condition.

This guitar is in excellent condition. There is very little wear for a 36 year old guitar. There are a few dings but overall it's the best looking Reborn I've ever seen. But what is most important is the TONE. PASTE the link below into a browser for a sample:

Some of the inlays are proud. They never get in the way my playing so I left them as is. I am in the process of glueing them back so they will be fixed. The volume knob is a bit scratchy and I will try and fix that too. I can't promise that I will fix that. I polished the frets and changed the strings to DR high beam 9's.
Look at my ratings. I have sold/played/owned a 100 guitars and this is by far the best I've ever played. It's also the most handsome instrument with an amazing burst. The last image has not been adjusted with a filter. That is the burst in sunlight (temporary as I know wood).
I have the pick guard which is in similar great condition. The only thing swapped out are strap locks have been added.
Bid with confidence. I will ship in a hard case and it will be well packaged and insured. I'm considering investing a lot of money and installing original PAF's and centralab/bumblebee harness and keeping it. So if you love Tokai, this is your chance for a once in a lifetime condition reborn. The fret wear is almost non existent. A few tiny indentations here are there. In my opinion the plain 3 piece tops of the reborn 50 are the best visually. The shrinkage of the top, the subtle grain and the cherry tomato burst preserved with the right amount of gloss is much less garish/bling than the figured model of the other models. The guitar weighs around 10 pounds. A quality substantial prince of a guitar.
