Vintage Simmons Drums SDS 9 Brain. Refurbished VERY NICE!!!! Fully restored to factory specs. This was the first drum brain with MIDI. Early to mid 80's. Has the classic Simmons analog Tom sounds with digital Snare and Rim sounds which are user exchangeable. (EPROMS under cover shown). This unit has been completely updated with the latest operating system. Has new memory cell and has been re-set to the original factory settings. Has a cool echo feature unique to this unit. As well as a second skin setting that can really fatten up the toms. Has a Kick, Snare, Rim, and three Toms. Individual drum outputs, Mono mix and Stereo mix outputs.
All in's and out's have been checked All potentiometers and buttons have been cleaned and verified as working as intended. Case shows some MINOR signs of wear. Nomenclature is clean and legible except for a scratch near the Bass Pad input jack. (Shown in last 2 photos) Other than that, pretty clean. See photos. Works like NEW!!! Owner's manual included.
