The drum is absolutely immaculate. Everything is in place, every single factory part. Every chubby washer. Finish is nearly perfect. Chrome is in great shape. I've never seen an LA period drum this clean with a finish so glossy and perfect. Some may argue the price is high, well they have to see this drum to believe it. This is quite simply the cleanest LA Camco drum I have ever seen! The condition is near show room. The finish is still glossy with only the slightest nick or scratch here or there. The chrome is excellent. Often we see LA lacquer finish drums in horrific condition with the lacquer checked and falling to dust. This drum is truly magnificent. 8 lug drum. Interior serial number 1010. Factory Camco triple flanged hoops. All parts are factory except for the snare wires and the heads down to a complete set of chubby washers and a perfect worm drive muffler. What a sensational sounding drum! Absolutely suitable for current playing applications or just for admiring as a collectible. I've found this wonderful piece of history to be quite expressive. The drum works well in loud and soft settings. You can get a range of different kinds of sounds out of the drum and it's a pleasure to play for snare drum focused rhythms such as second line and Latin effects. It's tunable across a wide range. I can't believe how the drum has held up for over 35 years! Wish I could meet all the guys that have played it.All parts are original and work well. Original strainer is intact and in place. No modifications of any kind. Clear natural lacquered interior. Definitely a collectors drum and it plays like a dream. Please ask all questions before bidding.
