YAMAHA 43 SOLID SILVER INTERMEDIATE CLOSED-HOLED FLUTE WITH SOLID SILVER HEAD, SOLID SILVER BODY/C-FOOT, SILVER-PLATED KEYS, OFFSET G, SPLIT E RING IN EXCELLENT CONDITION For students looking to move up to a flute that will take them to Grade 8 and beyond, it is important to benefit from solid silver and a excellent quality of headjoint cut. Silver is a denser metal than the nickel-silver alloy that is used on student models and therefore the sound takes longer to penetrate and resonates creating a richer quality of sound. A better cut of lip plate on a headjoint will make blowing easier and the flute more responsive. 5% DISCOUNT - Please check LONDON FLUTES on Google for more information and full stock of instrumentsThe 43 is an older version of the current 411 and is the perfect upgrade. Yamaha 400 series flutes are the most recommended intermediate student flutes on the market today. They have a sterling silver headjoint, body and foot and silver-plated keys and importantly, all the features of the basic student flute that makes it easier to play. The offset G keys in the middle of the flute make it more comfortable for those with smaller hands to reach their left hand around the flute. The C-Footjoint matches the mechanism of the student flutes (such as 211 and 311) for an easy transition. The only difference that the student will notice very quickly, is the quality and ease of sound production allowing them a much more balanced and richer quality of tone. The Yamaha 400 flutes are quite simply the best intermediate flutes for those students at approx Grade4/5 and above and will last them a lifetime as a keen amateur player. Should they then decide to pursue the flute professionally after grade 8, they could then look at handmade models. These are very much a personal choice once the technique of the player is more solidified (please contact me for advice on these flutes before buying). This particular flute is in excellent condition and has had an expensive 'Gold' service including full overhaul with new pads. The silver is superb and the flute is offered in lovely playing condition. It comes with a hardcase in perfect condition and cleaning rod. I will give a discount on the asking price for certain payment methods. Please contact me or look on London Flutes website for further details. Please feel free to contact me for advice and assistance on the right flute for the player. I do not want any player to have the wrong flute and therefore advice is important if you are unsure.
