Here we have a awesome 2004 Les Paul Classic Don't assume these are the same as the classics Gibson make now, while they are good guitars they arn't a patch on these, any research on the internet will reveal how well thought of the old classics are. This is finished in a lovely honeyburst plaintop finish, which is much more in keeping as it was fairly rare to get any flame on the originals. This has been nicely upgraded with historic correct parts from creamtone usa, new accurate scratch plate and pickup rings, aged historic toggle ring and jackplate. The neck pickup is the original with a aged nickel cover added and the bridge pickup is a Suhr Doug Aldrich with a aged cover too, this is one of the best humbuckers iv heard full punchy and warm great for everything from heavy rock to blues and more. A Gibson historic truss rod cover has been added also And to round it off the case has been upgraded to a superb "lifton" reissue case by Faber, much more in keeping with the guitar. Weight is around 8.5 lbs and its in great condition, the usual signs its been used but well looked after, some very light marks on the back from belt that dont even show on photos, please check last 3 photo's showing a very small chip that i have just noticed i don't even know when this happened, it is very small and im sure could be touched up if you wanted too. Very lively sounding guitar with tons of sustain, a real gem to play which will only get better, so if you fancy a historic custom shop les paul but cant quiet afford the thousands of pounds they cost this could be for you All original parts will be included too. Cash on collection is always best but if need be can post for £50 insured.
