Sterling Silvertone Bell 4.75", Bore .468", I measured the bell diameter and confirmed it is 4.75" which is .5" larger than the other Silvertone models. The model 1051 "Artist Bore" Silvertone Liberty I models are believed to have been built from 1926-1932. This horn comes from approximately 1928  This horn has been electrostatically cleaned and the valve felts and corks changed out and it is ready to play at gigs. All work was performed by RAWBRASSTRUMPETS dot com The valves are quick and smooth and adjusted properly with new neoprene felts. From another Artist Bore King Liberty owner: "To my shock, this was a beast! Instead of pep and zing, I got a lion from this horn. Middle notes are monstrously huge, and the upper register is easy, full and lush. The E at the bottom of the staff leaps out and slaps you in the back of the head. This one bellows, with a big dark voice. The bottom of the horn's register is typical for a Liberty I, slightly cranky down at the G and F#, but clear and full when mastered."  I suggest you purchase the horn and try it. If you don't like it, return it for any reason within the guidelines of the ebay 14 day policy in this listing. You will never find another horn like this one! Larry Note that the trumpet will be shipped with an adequate case to protect if for shipping. The trumpet comes with a Del Staiger 42 mouthpiece made for this era of trumpets by H.N. White.
