GREAT PLAYING CLARINET!!!!Even, warm and rich sound throughout the range.Intonation is also very good indeed.2x barrels included.... a 67mm which is original and tunes to A440 when warmed-up.... also a later barrel (from a 10S???) which is 64.5mm.. not sure where I got it but might be worth having for wailing over the big band :)This instrument is fairly recently serviced (by Geoff Secomb), there might be a pad or two at half-life but basically in very good playing condition. The silver plating is about half worn off. I've attempted to once again highlight some of the selmer logos etc. as well as serial numbers in gold ink. Great wood used in these older instruments. I've given it an internal oiling with light mineral oil once or twice since I've had it and generally taken very good care of it (I am a multi-instrumentalist and I am letting go of some instruments despite being great players as I am concentrating more on my specialty of double reeds these days)Not sure what the deal is with the "dot" at the end of the serial number on both joints, I've searched online and also asked Brian Ebert from Ozwinds (major instrument retailer here in Australia) and also a few other people.... no clue whatsoever, but it could be a prototype or transitional horn. This is a modern polycylindrical bore professional clarinet however, with no quirks whatsoever, a very even playing clarinet equally suitable for classical, dixie, jazz combo or big-band use.
