Powered by Frooition Pro 2002 Gibson Flying V Electric Guitar Cherry - EMG's & Crescent Inlays w/OHSC Item Description 2002 Gibson Faded Flying V Electric Guitar in very good condition with very little playwear on the front and a few minor dings on the edges. The back has some light scratches. Nice Worn Cherry finish with a white pickguard and chrome hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the slim taper mahogany neck with an Ebony fretboard and Crescent Moon inlays has a great feel. The frets are in excellent condition. The pickups have been upgraded to EMG humbucker pickups. They have an aggressive tone with plenty of output. There has been a control added so each pickup has its own volume and tone. The guitar is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece and vintage style Gibson Deluxe green key tuners. This is a somewhat rare model with the crescent moon inlays and ebony fretboard. Looks, plays and sounds great. Includes the original Gibson Flying V hard shell case. The top of the locking latch has been unscrewed from the top, but every thing is there. If you can figure out the combination, you can screw it back in place. Made in the USA. Serial Number: 01962425 Weight: 6 lbs. 9 oz.OVERVIEW The faded finish gives it the look of a seasoned performer. The Gibson Faded Flying V was born to rock. When the original V came out in '58, it was ahead of its time. When it was reissued 9 years later, it became a favorite of progressive rockers and still is to this day. This Faded Flying V has all the features and specs of the '67 model and the look of a guitar that has been loved and cared for since those early days.
