the shell have marks but nothing to worry about, no cracksSAME AS USED IN JEAN MICHEL JARRE CONCERTS IN CHINA 1980THIS IS ONE OF 2 LIMITED EDITION KITS SIMMONS MADE BACK THEN, THIS ONE IS SUNBURST, THERE IS ANOTHER ONE THAT IS BLUE/BLACKI HAVE NO IDEA HOW MANY OF THIS ONES WERE MADE BUT I KNOW FOR SURE THAT NOT MANY SINCE THE PRICE BACK THEMWAS VERY EXPENSIVE AND WAS MADE ON REQUESTThe bass drum was upgraded from xlr to very high quality jack 1/4" with lock
