This no reserve, free shipping auction is for a rare Great River MP-2 microphone preamp in great condition. This is the increasingly rare "White Face" version, not to be confused with the newer MP-2NV version. Having used both, I can say that this unit has a much more open, transparent, clean character than the NV, making it shine on acoustic instruments, room micing, and even ribbon mic applications. After some extensive research, I've learned that there were different versions of this preamp. This one does not have the 1/4" outputs, nor the output transformer that the later versions did. Please note this, and feel free to ask questions should they arise. I've had nothing but good luck with this pre. I'll be very sorry to see it go, but financial hardship forces my studio liquidation, unfortunately. Good luck!!!
