Taylor 810e Taylor's Version Of Martin D-28 This Is A Dreadnought Cannon!!
Estimated price for orientation: 1 395 $
Category: Taylor Dreadnoug
Class:
Description Brand: Taylor Body Type: Dreadnought MPN: Does Not Apply Model Year: 1996 Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
The Taylor 810 was one of the company's earliest dreadnought models, featuring a Spruce top and Rosewood back and The Taylor 810e is like a louder, deeper, boomier, larger sounding Martin D-28, with (great) electronics, and with much nicer appointments, like abalone around the sound hole and inlays. Although I'm not a huge fan of the tone of smaller body Taylors, this guitar is amazing for fingerpicking or strumming - really a versatile tool that is a "lifer"- one that will keep you happy for a lifetime. With 20 years of maturing on the tone woods, this guitar will blow any new D-28 out of the water. Appointments included unique abalone inlays and rosette, and binding all around. This model features Fishman's top-of-the-line prefix system. The playability is incredible and the notes ring out clearer and longer than any Martin I've owned (dozens). It's in excellent condition, especially for being a 20 year old instrument. Very well cared for and babied. Only a few blemishes - a few TINY dngs on the top (pictured), one TINY ding on the side (pictured), and a tiny faint scratch in the back. Taylors are famous for their easy, fast playability, and for staying in-tune. With the most comfortable comfortable necks in the world, it is an easy choice for a lot of guitar dist, as playability is the most important quality an instrument can have, followed by tone. Listeners will marvel at the full, rich sound of this dreadnought, shaped by rosewood's prominent bass and sustain and the tight, snappy response of Sitka spruce. The Taylor dreadnoughts sound unbelievable, and blow the grand auditorium size guitars out of the water. Very deep and resonant. Will give ANY Martin a run for its money, and will certainly play better than any Martin at this price point, but quite possibly any martin at any price point. This instrument has matured and the wood has opened up over the decades for a juicy resonant tone and sustain. The neck has a perfect profile, plays like a dream. Retail price is $4,238 Street price is $3,299. Surely won't last at the price listed. Unbeatable price. The neck is straight, perfect action at 3/32" (considered "ideal" action by many many guitar manufacturers). Plays like a dream. Comes with original deluxe Taylor hard shell case - they are among the best cases in the business for acoustic guitars. One of the latches is broke see pics. Does not affect being able to close or keep it securely closed. Comes with original case candy.
