Guda 2.0 FX Plus Drum by Zen Percussion is an unique handmade idiophone – it combines Handpan and Tongue Drum features. Second generation of GUDA drums have advanced tongue construction and is made of premium hard stainless steel. The construction of the tongue allows the player to hit the main tone or overtone separately or together. Double tongues provide loud and distinctive overtones which give more brightness and volume to the sound of GUDA 2.0 FX Plus Drum.Though this drum is made of premium quality stainless steel, but still it has pure, warm and loud sound without unpleasant metal tones. Using a thicker steel, we were able to achieve better sustain, volume, sound clarity. Also new steel holds the tuning extremely well and keeps it for a long time. We use new advanced metal processing technology which allows to create very smooth surface and clear sound. The convex shape of the hemispheres affects the sound positively giving it the necessary volume and color.Guda 2.0 FX Plus has excellent response for playing too. Balance shape and sizes allow to place the instrument more comfortably on your laps, this also gives better access to all tongues while playing.Guda 2.0 FX Plus equipped by 4 piezo pickups, so you can use it as simple as electric guitar: 1) just connect output jack of drum with “Line input” of any type of amplifier, combo, mixer or sound card;
2) build your own sound with your processors units or effect pedals;
