Always check the capsule or ask the seller show it via pics like we did.Please see all pictures listed below!Description:This is a Neumann U89 Multi Pattern Studio Professional Recording Microphone.The U89 is follow up to the famous U87 and sounds very close to the u87, may be even better than U87.Anyway the sound you are searching depends on your taste preferences and to say which sound is better - is at least wrong. The only thing we can say that the U89 unlike the U87 has a more neutral sound and that is great for a wide range of tasks..Also the 89 has five polar patterns as opposed to the 87's three, which is super great awesome.Overall Neumann sound and sounds so Fantastic!
