Up for auction is this antique mandolin from famous italian maker Raffaele Calace in 1916. There is a signed label inside the instrument. It is truly an amazing piece to look at but it is an restoring project. Some strings are missing, but they are probably in the case. I have not any knowledge on these things, it comes from an estate here in Norway. I have tried to take photo of what can be defects but it is up to you to decide. It is playable but as I say before, it needs some work. Case is original but poor condition. Some strings are following.
