Superb 1950 King H.N. White BBb Sousaphone.Sousaphone bell is 26" just serviced for major dent removal. This King plays better than the new instruments that they are making now. It plays well and sounds really loud! We replaced three original old stock nexk screws and one for the mouthpiece receiver, so it is complete, also one of the neck screw holders was replaced as shown in picture. Had many many many of the dents rolled out as well and it looks a lot better, if you were looking at it before you will notice a huge difference and we kept one original picture up from before. If you'd like additional pictures or a recording please message me. New pads and felts were also put on the valves so they are really fast and quiet. Serial number is listed in photograph.
Looks to be in good condition for its age. All the Slides and valves move well. They have good compression and the valves move fast. Instrument is in raw brass. You may want to replace the spit valve and cork as it is older so the seal is tight and get it professional chemically cleaned if you do this kind of thing. The valves now have have new felts and pads so they are are faster and don't make any noise. Will include a mouthpiece so it's ready to play, Bach 24AW. Body, bell and neck all original. No case.
