Harrison 32CS - hardware channel strip
Estimated price for orientation: 1 425 $
Category: Vintage Pro Audio Equipment
Class:
Description Brand: Harrison
This Harrison 32CS is a very special hardware channel strip that rarely comes up used. It is basically the input channel from the iconic and historic Harrison 32 series console. It is hand-built in Tennessee by the original Harrison console company.I worked for years on a Harrison 3232 console and this channel strip is the real thing. Its a unique and different vibe from other popular consoles and was prominent on many hit records. The mic preamp, filters and eq are amazing. As a DI for bass or guitar it rocks! Its Bruce Swedien's favorite desk among other prominent engineer/producers.I love this unit, but need to sell it for now. Harrison sells them direct for $2,500. Mine is perfect except a couple light rack scuffs on the case. It works flawlessly. If you're interested its worth going to the Harrison website and reading all the information and looking at some of the reviews. Here are a few features:• Input section with transformer-coupled mic preamplifier
• Switchable high and low-pass filters with HPF "Bump" feature
• 4 band semi-parametric EQ with switchable Shelving/Bell modes
• Switchable insert point that may be moved pre- or post- filters
• Zero-latency analog monitoring/mix section with high-powered
headphone output
• Comprehensive I/O using no-compromise, differentially balanced
connections
• Colored LED indicators above each switch that clearly indicate when the
switch is engaged
• Laser-etched front panel for long life.
