Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. You are looking at a very unique and rare Bang & Olufsen "velocity" ribbon microphone sold under license to the Fen-tone company that was based out of New York City, New York at that time. This is a high quality 50's era microphone made in Denmark. it even comes with an uber rare stock stand for this model of mic. You'll notice that the original box and data sheet are included. The box shows heavy wear. The data sheet...not so much. It has all the technical data on this mic as well. It should be stated right off the bat that this ribbon mic still works and all of the adjustment switches are in perfect working order. Like may older ribbon mics of this period...the element is original to the microphone and this has never been tampered with. The signal strength is lower than it should be (around 60%) and will need a rebuild it you expect to use this for professional purposes. Not to say you can't use it in it's natural state but the it's just not up to par for any serious live event. I do know a gentleman in Georgia who rebuilds any ribbon mic out there for a very reasonable price and this would make a fine candidate. The rarity and physical condition warrant it without a doubt. As you can see the microphone is in gorgeous physical condition with with a minimum of cosmetic wear. Please let the detailed pictures be you guide. There are no dents, fractures or engravings on this old mic. The best part is that the original desk stand is included which you just never see. The mic simply slides down into the base and you twist it to keep it in place. It disengages from the stand just as easily and allows the user to hold this in ones hand to walk around. The stand is in excellent physical condition as well.  The mic has it's original 14 foot cable and it's soft, pliable and free of any damage. A chrome plated 1/4 inch male connector will allow this to be used on most modern audio equipment and all guitar amplifiers. This mic will really stand out anywhere in the house, office or studio with it's ultra modern look and clean lines. This mic is easily a 9 on a scale of 1 - 10 in the cosmetic department.  As with all my vintage microphones... I can promise you will be happy with it for the price paid. If not...I have a no hassle return policy. The shipping will be on you as I believe that's fair but the purchase price would be refunded. Simply return in the same nice condition...period. Check my rating. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS are welcome as well. Buyer must pay within 24 hours or an unpaid case will be opened and the item will be relisted. Domestic and foreign buyer will get priority shipping. If you have any questions feel free to ask and...thanks for looking.
