Neve Design AMEK 9098 DUAL COMPRESSOR LIMITERAn amazingly feature packed compressor limiter, great for the mixbuss.Sounds superb, in working order, shows some signs of age please check photo's as they are part of the description.The 9098 AMEK gear is sleeper tech, in its price range it beats anything, the construction is also top notch a really great machine and would be a valued part of any chain.Check my other auctions for similar audio gear.Please get in touch for more accurate international postage.The inclusion of a Compressor/Limiter in the System 9098 product family was justified by the continuing popularity of the famous old 2254 devices Mr Neves designed in the late 1960’s. More than 25 years later, their performance undeniably still bought benefits to engineers and producers seeking inconspicuous control over the dynamic range of microphone signals. The same principles have been applied to the System 9098 Compressor/Limiter.At the time, considerable advances have been made in technology which have enabled Mr Neves to provide a much more flexible device which retained all of the character and musicality of the original design while incorporating some exciting new features.
