The mechanism is in first-class working order, it has been cleaned,overhauled, repaired and regulated in my workshop.. The strings are complete and tuned producing a rich,warm tone. The pedals, sustain and half-blow, both function correctly. The original 85 note keyboard is in good condition with no chipped keys or discoloration. The black casework is in very good condition with no marks or scratches. The front board is pierced an fretted, revealing a purple silk back drop. An antique, black music stool can be purchased separately. A delightful piece of antique furniture and a good instrument built by one of Germany`s most famous sons .Sympathetically re-conditioned, and thoroughly reliable, it will give many years of service to its new owner.
