This is a beautiful pair of Neumann KM184 Cardioid Microphones housed in a wooden box with foam screens and microphone clips. The microphones and all accessories in the wooden box are in outstanding shape. The wooden box is also in superb shape with barely any signs of wear (no chipping, dented edges) on the top or side-walls, the clips and hinges are both in excellent shape with only minor signs of wear on the bottom of the wooden box. The original outer cardboard box is included and does have quite a bit of shelf wear, but everything internally is nearly perfect. Color on these is Onyx/Matte Black. This is a pair of two consecutive serial numbers: 92523, 92524. Serial numbers match on the microphones, wooden box, as well as the original retail cardboard box. They are sold as a "stereo" pair based on serial number sequencing. The serial numbers are visible when you look straight at the XLR connector on the bottom of the microphone (picture below). Both microphones were tested and are passing audio perfectly. They require phantom power for operation and have a standard 3-pin XLR on the bottom, no need for any special cables or power supplies. It doesn't look like they were used or handled much at all - the microphones themselves look to be in pristine shape with no dings, wear or scratches anywhere on them. I am not the original owner of these and original purchase or warranty details are unavailable, although you should be able to obtain age based on the serial number.
