The X series dreadnought 14 fret acoustic electric guitar is a non cutaway model that features a Jett black high pressure laminate top, back and sides. Equipped with Fishman Sonitone USB electronics and a black Stratabond neck with a Performing Artist profile, the DXAE black model will please players of all levels. Also featured is a new single ring, pad printed rosette and modern belly bridge. This Martin Guitar features several Sustainable Wood Certified parts. This is a categorization used by Martin to indicate that a guitar model has certified wood components that have been sourced in a responsible manner. These woods are all FSC® Certified, meaning that the wood all comes from a responsibly managed forest that provides environmental, social and economic benefits. The FSC® was established in part by the Rainforest Alliance to ensure rigorous standards are met for the protection of forestlands, communities, and wildlife. Designed to meet the needs of value-price acoustic guitars and ukuleles, the Fishman Sonitone Onboard Preamp System features a soundhole mounted preamp with rotary controls for Volume and Tone. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.
