Here we have a 1926/27 Gibson L0.  First commercially available Gibson Flat top. Reminiscent of Robert Johnson or an inch deeper and you have Nick Lucas.  This one has a surprisingly modern feel.  C-shape neck.  Wider fingerboard.  Straight neck.  Expert restoration by Jake Wildwood of Antebellum Instruments.  You can read his blog about this one.  New compensated saddle.  Everything else seems original.  New frets.  Original tuners work great.  Very responsive to finger style and fun to flat pick.  There is a crack that is almost the entire length of the back ... repaired and stable. Three other smaller cracks all repaired and stable.  Some chips on the fingerboard which is probably bean wood or similar.  This was a budget instrument in its time.  Made very light and inexpensive which turns out to be the formula for an amazing vintage acoustic.  Feather light.  They don't build them like this anymore and if they did it would be extremely pricey.Original case in great shape included.Demo video available here   Happy Bidding!
