Beautiful piccolo. Gemeinhardt 50 series. Made in Elkhart, Indiana. Model is 4shglp. Sh means that the head join is solid sterling silver and glp indicates that the lip plate is coated with a layer of 18k gold. The body and keys are sterling plated. This piccolo would be excellent for any level player, and is in fantastic condition. It has been very lightly used, but since it has not been played in some time it may need new key padding and will need to be tuned. Both are easy and inexpensive fixes. Comes with case and cleaning rod. This piccolo retails for around $1,300 as can be seen in the attached screenshot. Screenshot is fr Cascio Interstate Music which is the only online store I found that carries this particular model with the gold lip. This is a stunning instrument in great condition that will last the player a lifetime.
