It is known worldwide to be THE only Banjo pictorial encyclopaedia of Banjos including ukulele and Mandolin Banjos. It is of ultimate quality and collectibility. This individual book is an unused copy of "1001 banjos"by AkiraTsumura. It is one of the first and only printing of the famous work of art published in 1993. It is contained in its in its original brown opening box and white slip cover. Words cannot do justice to this book so I will not try. The book weight is around 16lbs (7.2kg) indicating its content and quality. These books have been advertised by private collectors in the past and been listed and sold via Amazon Worldwide and book dealers at a much higher price. A few years ago one was sold via Amazon in the U.K. for £2000. They are a very highly prized collectible photographic book. The book is advertised at an absolutely bargain price to all interested parties Worldwide. This is a rare item of the utmost quality which can only increase in value. It is known that these books will never ever be reprinted as they were made at the vast expense of Mr Tsumura to exacting standards and a reprint would not be viable on cost grounds due to the quality of their contents and hand made construction The Tsumura Banjo collection has since been sold off in parts and no longer exists in its entirity. I am selling only because over the past 23 years with much effort and luck I managed to search out and buy another identical copy of the book which I am keeping to enjoy.
