Previous ebayer was not able to send the funds, so this is relisted.I am offering Philips MD FOUR discrete microphone/line preamplifiers with transformers and FOUR classic equalizers based on inductors coils and capacitors. This combination creates one of a kind recording/producer's lunchbox. Originally the modules were part of Philips MD discrete consoles manufactured in the late 60's and early 70's. Philips studio equipment of that era was really superb and rivaled with Siemens, and Telefunken. They offered similar level of quality building and very good sound. Now being underrated as Philips is mostly associated with mass consumer products and their professional heritage has been partially forgotten. Golden era of hi-fi studio stuff began to end in the second half of the 70's and Philips studio factories in Hamburg, Germany and in Netherlands were closed down in the 80's. These modules are coming from the 60's. They were refurbished, all electrolytic caps were replaced, this is fully working set to plug and play. Separated powering (from 230V only) with 48V phantom and XLR inputs/outputs were added. Upper female XLRs are Line inputs (gain under the faders must be set at 0 for line inputs), lower female XLRs are microphone inputs, switchers below are 48V phantom. Equalizers have fixed top and bass (boosting and attenuation from 0 till 10 dB in 2dB sets) plus parametric presence tones (boosting of 1kHz/1.4kHz/2 kHz, 2,8 kHz/4kHz). The sound is warm and soft. Ocean Way Studios who had or still have such a set compared the one to all other preamps they had and told me those Philips preamps were the best for soft female voices. It will work pretty good for any acoustic music. Sizes of the lunchbox are: 61cm (length) x 33 cm (width) and 14 cm (depth). If you have further questions, feel free to drop a line. Shipping to Germany or most other European countries will be around 40-50 USD, it will be more expensive when shipped overseas – please note the item is relatively heavy and not a small, around 150 USD. The unit is property of my studio and will be invoiced at selling amount ( I am not able to declare lower value than it is actually is, so please do not ask, I am sorry). PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE BEFORE MAKING ANY AUTOMATIC PAYMENT, WHICH MIGHT GIVE YOU NOT THE RIGHT AMOUNT. Thank you.
