Listed here is a lovely Wheatstone C/G 30 button anglo concertina built between 1937 to 1939 (serial number #50824). The serial number is also stamped on the reedpans. The rosewood ended concertina is in excellent condition and was serviced recently. The bellows are original. The reeds are set in brass shoes (or frames). They are also set in a dovetailed reedpan. Each reed unit can slide in and out of its own groove. Each button and note works. The action is not rivited...it is the saddle type..."hook and spring" type. The concertina is reponsive. The concertina is tuned to A=440. This concertina has a sweet and strong sound due to the brass reed frames....it sounds better than the 1950's Wheatstone models The 1950's Wheatstone concertina carrying case is in good condition. Shipping costs by Expedited Airmail with a tracking number to the UK, Europe, Australia and Japan costs approximately $160.00.
