New Greenbrier "Mia" F-7 F-Style Mandolin with Case Solid Hand Carved Spruce & Solid hand Carved Maple*An Active System Pickup & Preamp with Built in Tuner can be installed upon request ****Made in the USA in Greenbrier Arkansas** Howdy folks. I have here for sale one of the F-style mandolins I have built in my shop. In the Greenbrier mandolin series, I have built the Mia. Why not call it after the maker, me, fits on the headstock and looks pretty. The top is made of solid hand carved and graduated spruce. I custom fit scalloped spruce tone bars for the top. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard, polished bone nut (1 1/8th inch) and an adjustable truss rod. The neck, back and sides are carved from flamed maple. I put on an AXL solid cast tailpiece and trumpeted the F-holes for maximum bluegrass punch. The finish is a hand rubbed oil with my custom staining formula. My husband calls it midnight blue, but it really is a rich deep purple, like my dads 66 Buick Riviera. I saw this color and just new I had to use it on a mandolin.
