Up for sale is Altus Sterling Silver Professional Handmade Flute Model 1007Altus flutes are renowned for being of the highest quality and Altus been hand crafting flutes for over 30 years. All Altus flutes have a beautifully crisp and easy sound in the high registers and benefit from lush, warm tones in the lower registers, especially those with the solid silver body. Their sound is unique and coveted by some of the best players in the world. The mechanism and style has been said to be based on the French maker Louis Lot and the quality of workmanship is superb. The Altus 1007 is one of the most sought-after models . If you are looking to upgrade from your flute and you will not be disappointed with this flute and it will take you through many years before you out grow it. The head joint of flute is stamped "Silver Head". The body and foot of flute are stamped "Silver Body". The Sterling silver head joint gives players more tonal character and flexibility. The Sterling silver body and foot give the flute a warmer, darker sound than traditional silver plating. Open hole keys provide flutists the ability to play a higher level of music that include techniques such as quarter tones, encourages proper hand position and provides more clarity in tone.
