Hi, up for grabs, 2001 Fender Tom Delonge strat, made in Mexico.  it was originally painted black from Fender, but the paint was breaking off, ("see the last picture") and falling away, just like a hard boiled egg, so I refinished it in a brown amber tint to let the beautiful grain of the alder wood show through nicely.  there is a dark mineral streak and small knot on the back side, but the front is pristine ( I think the Ensenada, Mexico plant might have been using old kitchen doors for their guitar bodies, hahaha) anyway, there is about 20 clear spray coats of poly on it and its buffed out as smooth as a babies butt. it is really beautiful, and plays and sounds great too! if your a purist however, you can always just repaint the body back to surf green or daphne blue or whatever other Delonge color you fancy.  I did add a parchment pickguard instead of the stock "mother of toilet seat" pearl that came on it. other than that, it has just the normal playwear any older guitar would have. she also comes with a deluxe Fender gigbag too.  its a great looking guitar, and I had to do something to rectify the flaking off of the original paint. I love the Delonges, simple, loud, and in your face. original Seymour Duncan Invader pickup still there, and the neck and tuners are fantastic as well.  thanks for looking.
