This is a classic 1980 Slovenian Melodija 3 row, 3 reed diatonic button box accordion. It is in the keys of C,F,Bb and has a great sound. It was professionally re-tuned by Mario Mosti to give it a dryer, more crisp sound - more like a Cleveland polka box than an Alpine musette. Some call it semi-dry or demi-swing tuning. The instrument is in good physical and cosmetic condition - it looks just like every other Melodija from the era, but the sound will knock your socks off! It has a stepped keyboard with German fingering including standing keys (gleichtons) in the 2nd and 3rd rows, but can easily be changed to Czech/Bohemian or Tex-Mex (Hohner style) fingering without the standing keys if you prefer, at no additional charge. Bellows are in good condition, comes with original Melodija adjustable shoulder straps. Also has a leather bass strap and a carrying case in good condition.
