Das neue "FORTE" von KURZWEIL ist ein für den professionellen Bühneneinsatz konzipiertes Instrument und basiert auf einer komplett neu entwickelten Plattform, die nun auch FlashPlay für sehr lange Samples und damit noch authentischere Sounds unterstützt.
Selbstverständlich macht es auch im Studio eine ausgezeichnete Figur und ambitionierten "Hausmusikern" viel Freude, besonders wenn die Ansprüche steigen.
Mit 16 GB Speicher setzt es neue Maßstäbe für Stage Pianos, denn die beiden komplett neu aufgenommenen und sorgfältig gesampleten Konzertflügel vom Typ Hamburg Steinway Model D und Yamaha C7, umfassen jeweils ca. 3-4 GB Sound ROM und bieten mit Release Samples, Dämpfergeräuschen und Resonanz alles was der Keyboarder auf der Bühne heutzutage und zukünftig für ein realistischen, gut spielbaren und vor allem auch im Bandgefüge durchsetzungsfähigen Klaviersound braucht. Natürlich finden sich auch neu aufgenommene und gesamplelte Rhodes (normal und mit Verstärker) sowie Wurlitzer Sounds, die ebenfalls über mindestens 6-8 Dynamiklayer und Release Samples verfügen, in dem 16 GB großen Speicher. Selbstverständlich sind auch alle Sounds aus der bekannten KORE64 Erweiterung und dem PC3K (in höherer Auflösung) mit an Bord.
Die neu gestaltete, intuitiv bedienbare Oberfläche mit einem 4.3" LCD-Farbdisplay und zahlreichen Echtzeitspielhilfen (9 frei belegbare Fader je mit LED-Kette sowie 9 Taster mit LED´s, 10 Favoriten, Nummernblock mit 20 Tastern geordnet nach Soundkategorien, 4 Taster für TapTempo, Transponierung, Variation und Leslie on/off direkt neben dem Modulations und Pitchbend-Rädern), machen das Forte zur ideal kreativen Zentrale jedes Keyboard Setups auf der Bühne. 4 Drehregler für den 3-Band-EQ mit durchstimmbaren Mitten, 1 Drehregler für den Kompressor, sowie 4 symmetrische Ausgänge, Anschlüsse für 2 Volumenpedale und 3 Schaltpedalen auf der Geräterückseite stehen außerdem zur Verfügung.
