New Greenbrier "Fire Storm" F-7E F-Style Mandolin with Case - Acoustic/ElectricSolid Hand Carved Spruce & Solid hand Carved Maple*Includes Active System Pickup & Preamp with Built in Tuner ****Made in the USA in Greenbrier Arkansas** Howdy folks. I have here a beautiful solid hand carved F-style mandolin built here in my shop. I installed an active system preamp, BellCat with built in tuner during the build process. And the pickup is built into the bridge. The top is made of solid hand carved and graduated spruce with custom fit scalloped spruce tone bars. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard, polished bone nut (1 1/8th inch) and an adjustable truss rod. The neck, back and sides I carved from solid figured maple. This is one of the few mandolins I will make with binding. This is a distressed finish mandolin, and I call it the "Fire Storm." I will only make 1 mandolin like this. This baby does play wonderful. Please call me if you have any questions about the distressing or binding. 501-314-8967. I put on a traditional tailpiece and trumpeted the F-holes. The finish is a hand rubbed oil with my custom staining formula. The sound is very full, woody and resonant. The mandolin is new. The case shown is included.
