For sale is my excellent condition Oahu Square Neck Lapsteel acoustic with sunburst finishI've only ever seen 2 of these before. One (funnily enough) is on Ebay at the moment and has had quite alot of cosmetic work and has repaired cracks. This one is crack free. No issues. No work done. Nothing. And it plays brilliantly. And it's cheaper. Go figure.It feels like a Jumbo but is in fact an OM body size, featuring sunburst finish with gold leaf flower painting on top with sunburst back, sides and neck. Original pat. tuners and in amazing original condition considering its age. It's ladder braced which gives a great blues and country 'bark' but it's equally soft and sweet when played gently. Original pyramid bridge, bound body and neck, bound sound-hole. This is a premium Oahu that has matured beautifully and sounds superb. Oahu was one of the premier Chicago companies known for Hawaiian, lap steel and lap guitars and this was made sometime in the 1930's. Rare in any condition, this is a great great guitar for country slide. Cash on collection preferred or bank transfer as always but Paypal also accepted.
