FENDER JAZZ BASS 1965 - 'L' Series - SUNBURST with OHSC PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR A SPECIAL BUY IT NOW PRICE This is a highly desirable early 1965 Fender Jazz Bass in exceptional condition. Being an early '65 bass it has many of the Pre-CBS features including the L series neck plate and reverse tuners. As can be seen in the pictures, the Sunburst finish is in excellent overall condition for a 50 year old bass but there are dings, scratches and swirls as to be expected. The back of the neck is very smooth and shows only light signs of wear with the back of the headstock having one small area of damage as can be seen in the pictures. The frets are also in great shape with the graining on the fingerboard being superb. The truss rod turns easily. The neck is dated April 65 and the pots 20th week also of 65. The bass is a nice weight at 9lbs.
