Hi! Up for sale is a beautiful Covered Bridge concert ukulele. Covered Bridge is a small hand build luthier from Oregon, run by twin brothers. They make a fantastic instrument!I think this is solid Acacia, instead of Koa, but I'm not certain. Regardless, this is beautiful, deep color with a subtle flame, and nice striping with a really characteristic light stripe right along the book match. Its got a satin finish, and is mostly flawless except for the pictured scratch. No real playwear, and no cracks. Overall its a nice elegant look, with the covered bridge silhouette head-stock shape maintained by the PegHed tuners providing a classic, friction tuner look but with geared tuner performance... they are my favorite uke tuners! Its got a rosewood fret board, and stringing through the bridge.This is a deeper bodied concert uke than any other I've seen, which gives it a bigger, deeper, more resonant tone. Tone wise, its a great 'bridge' between a regular concert and a tenor. Think a really sweet, chimey tenor, or a full bodied concert. Its got a nice, round neck radius, medium chunky, and the satin finish on the back of the neck makes it easy to play without the stickiness you can sometimes get with a gloss finish.This is an excellent uke that you'll really love.
