This is a gorgeous Brent Haines Woodsounds double flute in the key of E. It has a low, mellow sound.
The body is walnut with macassar ebony mouth and end pieces and crushed mother of pearl inlay. Beautiful!
It sold for $1590. ID number F47Ba It is really unique in that it is very adjustable. There are leather straps that can be slid over or off of the holes on the lower drone flute. When they are all covered, it plays like a regular drone. When some of the holes are uncovered, you can play a variety of harmonies! See how to play one on YouTube
