Notable for its exceptional build quality, along with its MX-15 cousin. Lots of MS and MXs are still in use today. This has an AFC module present, although the release mechanism snapped up near the hinge. The RF amplifier is present, although not in its cage. You can see the cage separate in the photographs. We recommend you have your engineer look over the power amplifier, capacitors, some solder connections, etc. before putting this exciter into service!I do not know any additional history, what frequency it was last on, etc.
This one shows a few nicks and dings cosmetically; the Harris badge is missing from the front. No power cord, sorry.... MW Persons in MN and others have a few parts and service options for this line of exciters. Or, you could just tease out the leads and cobble your own power cable.
