Pristine Auctions is very proud to present this 2016 Hofner 64' Vintage Reissue 1964 500/1 Electric Violin Bass in 100 percent Mint/Unplayed condition!! This one was just unboxed today for the first time to photograph and test to make sure everything is working. She was born on 7.7.2016 and was 100% hand built by the impeccable craftsmen at Hofner! Often imitated but never duplicated the is the real deal. Made in Germany, Hofner has been setting the standard for the violin electric bass for many, many years. The hand craftsmanship on this baby is absolutely stunning and flawless. Not only does this guitar have a beautiful spruce top, but an awesome flame maple sides and back. The bound rosewood fret board and the ebony bridge contrast the body woods well. Electronically this guitar has separate volumes and on/off for both pickups. Plays like butter and the most amazing thing about this work of art is that it weighs less than most acoustic guitars. Perhaps the most iconic thing about this Bass is the sound, as it closely resembles the sound of a full size upright. This is truly a bass players dream. Mint!!! Mint !!! Mint !!!!.
