Classic gloss Black finish with white/black abalone binding and gold hardware. The guitar has a nice action and the 3-piece maple neck with a bound ebony fretboard adorned with a pearl "Tree of Life" inlay has a great feel. The frets are in excellent condition with no signs of wear. The Super 80 pickups with Flying Fingers covers have a great tone with nice output. Each pickup has a "Tri-Sound" switch to choose between series, parallel and single coil operation. The guitar is equipped with a bone nut, ART-1 bridge, quick change Ultra tailpiece and sealed tuners. If you know about the vintage Ibanez Artists check this one out with the modern updates. This is a Manufacturer Refurbished guitar. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected and cleared by a certified technician. In order to prevent false warranty claims, the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" or "2nd" (under the leg rest on Steinberger), the original serial number has been replaced with a new one by the authorized refurbishing center. On some models the used stamp may be very light and hard to see. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new! Most refurbished instruments we sell have no visible flaws. For any that do, we will describe the flaw or repair in the listing and include a photo if it is visible. They are completely playable instruments with no sacrifice of tone, structure, or playability.
