I have had this many years and I believe I've taken pretty good care of it.It shows a little wear around the control area and a couple cigarette burns on the case(not mine). No scratches or damage on the instrument. it has the leather imbossed case showing a little wear but still very nice.Most of these customs were maple or walnut. My cabinet maker friend tells me this is black ash. Beautiful grain. All original as new. Hook it up to an old Fender tube amp and hear that sound. It doesn't get any better!(my opinon.) Priced to sell.
